Responsibilities:

• Negotiates contracts for sales/purchases and manages/ renews/ reviews contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer/supplier relations
• Plans and implements import/export strategies and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization
• Coordinates with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant export/import activities and support in relation to the organization's sales, purchasing, materials management, production and overall operating functions
• Manages and maintains effective and lawful insurance provisions relating to import/export activities
• Optimizes transport networks of goods and services

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or equivalent (Post Graduate diploma / Master’s Degree an advantage)
• Required skill(s): Negotiation, Computer
• At least 5 year(s) work experience in export management, regulatory compliance, custom admin, trading and other related field is required for this position
• Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Sales - Corporate or equivalent
• Knowledge of local and external health, safety laws and policies and lawful insurance provisions pertinent to import/export activities
• Knowledge and practical application of systems and ICT (Information & Communications Technology) within the import/export function
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Willing to travel and work on a full-time basis
