Mega Fishing Corporation owns seven sets of commercial deep-sea purse seiners each set of boats comprises of 7 vessels a sonar boat(which detects the fish), two catchers(for more effective catching of fish), three light boats(to attract more fish), and a carrier(which brings the fresh fish to the docks). Each fishing vessel is fully equipped with high-tech gps and thermal sonar to have the competitive edge of locating more fresh fish.
MFC vessels operate in the vicinity of the Sulu Sea, Bolod, Pandalusan, Pabunuan, Pilas Island, and Tulnalutan. The company supplies about 90 percent of raw fresh fish for canning companies in Manila and Zamboanga as well as the fresh fish markets in Cagayan de Oro City, Tagum, Davao del Norte, Dipolog City, Iligan City, Pagadian City, Valencia, Bukidnon, and Butuan City in Agusan.
