In 1998, MFC constructed a fishmeal processing plant on it's 7 hectares lot in Talisayan, Zamboanga City which is about 22 kilometers from the City proper. This was intended to take care of the head and tails and waste coming from the canning plant. Instead of sun drying, our fishmeal uses top of the line steam tanks to cook (which is 200% more efficient and more purity).Our product has a Philippine Bureau Standard Result of 55% protein content and above while the whole fishmeal has 60% protein content and above.
